Unveiling the Pros and Cons: An In-depth Review of a Chrome Extension

As a tech enthusiast, you might have come across numerous chrome browser extensions . One such chrome extension that stands out is a software app with an aggregate rating of 3.37 out of 5. Today, we delve into this unique chrome extension, examining its features, user reviews, and the reasons behind its high rating.

User Feedback: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Our comprehensive review is based on user feedback, bringing to the forefront both positive and negative reviews. As observed, users have diverse opinions on this chrome extension, primarily due to their varying experiences.

Noteworthy Features

Despite facing some criticism, this chrome extension has managed to maintain a considerable rating, thanks to its outstanding features. An interesting feature is the ability to inspect mobx-react observers and edit values in observable objects. However, it is important to note that it does not support editing react props/state. Instead, users are advised to use react-devtools for this purpose.

Another remarkable feature is the ability to track changes in MobX observables, which, when combined with the MST support, significantly enhances its value in chrome extension development. These features have led to it being celebrated among the top chrome extensions in the chrome extension store.

Positive User Feedback

While some users critique the extension, others applaud its functionality. Its ability to inspect mobx-react observers and track changes in MobX observables has been met with positive feedback. This is evident in its moderate rating on the chrome extension store.

Negative User Reviews: Room for Improvement

On the flip side, there have been several criticisms targeted at this chrome extension. Users have pointed out issues with missing components, freezing, connectivity problems, and the absence of a state tree. Additionally, some users have expressed concerns over the lack of updates over the last two years and missing scrollbar issues.

Other users have pointed out that the extension's performance is below par compared to redux-devtools, suggesting areas for improvement. However, it is important to note that these reviews represent individual user experiences and may not be representative of the chrome extension's overall performance.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, while the chrome extension has its strengths, there are evident areas for improvement. Nevertheless, the extension's unique features and capabilities make it a beneficial tool for those who develop websites.

This in-depth review provides a balanced perspective of the chrome extension, highlighting its pros and cons based on user reviews. It serves as a guiding tool for users navigating the chrome extension store, helping them make an informed decision. The chrome extension development tools and chrome extension manager features also add substantial value to the overall user experience.

Missing components and Performance tabs (in a React app). The only things I can inspect are changes (i.e. mobx actions).

Freezes and just doesn't work.
